THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS, NOTE THAT THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE NERF GUN IS STILL UNDER DEVELOPMENT
The design of the gun for Cosplay purposes is complete, however I need to go back to the drawing board to improve the nerf gun functionality. The "hook" design for my trigger sear actually works too well, and with the strength of the plunger spring I'm using you cannot overpower the catch with your bare hands. I will tweak the design of the nerf firing mechanism in the coming weeks, but for anyone who just wants to make a static prop for cosplay, the assembly and parts will remain largely the same. I intend to simply update the design with interchangeable parts, so you can upgrade yours later, or simply continue to use it as a static hand prop for conventions without the working nerf mechanism.
Inspired by Wekster's Thirst Zapper. I decided to create my own model using known off-the-shelf parts instead of unknown scavenged parts, to create a more detailed and clean model, and to create a guide so that people can make their own!
Designed in Fusion 360, this model is broken up for ease of printing, assembly, and painting.
