Climatius is an extinct genus of spiny shark from around the Silurian-Devonian. I made the model in Blender and split it into four parts so it prints without any support. The real size would be around 7.5 cm/3 in, the actual coloration is not known.

I stuck the four pieces together with hot glue after printing and filled the gaps with acrylic putty before coating with epoxy and sanding. Painting after base coat was a coat of dark blue, followed by a dusting of opaque white on the belly. The scales were also opaque white, with a mesh stencil. The top was dusted with thinned phthalo green. Details were silver pearl on the scales and blue lateral spots. Eyes were done in black and I should have spent more effort on them. Final clear coat was glossy acrylic.
