This is a model of the original Batmobile.
UPDATE (Sept 6): I made some improvements to the bat crests, wheel and front body.
It has interior seats and a dashboard. Front and rear windows are clear translucent PLA.
Printed in PLA, painted and glued.
It is built to the same scale as my Classic Cadillac thing.
This model prints very easily. I had zero problems.
All pieces were printed in standard resolution.
No scaling is required.
The only piece that requires supports is the roll bar.
I highly recommend you use rafts for the body front and rear. This will help minimize warping.
They must be oriented so that they print vertically (lay the slice flat on the build platform). These are the only pieces that you will have to rotate before printing.
The front and rear windows are best printed in translucent PLA if you have it. For them, use 100% infill.
The wheels are a bit oversized. and there are spacers for them if you want them to stick out a bit like I have in the pictures.
The bat crests are a bit big so you might want to scale them down a bit (if only to make them thinner).
The red lines are actually quite easy to paint because most of them follow a sharp edge (use the side of your brush, not too much paint, and a few coats).
Patience with painting and gluing and you should have a nice model in the end!
