The VCC-1 Camillino is a troop transport vehicle designed in Italy by OTO Melara. This vehicle is based on the general architecture of the US M113, with several improvements related to the experience of use in the Italian Army. In particular, the armor plating was tilted at the rear of the vehicle and slots were obtained in the transport compartment, these modifications, improving the offensive combat capability and the protection of the vehicle, have however reduced the transport capacity to 7 men instead of 12 of the 'M113.
