I recently finished my Minifig design of a Protector of Gotham. I included a Duo-Colour-LED with a diffusor, switch, resistor and batterypack inside his head. I used these specific components:
The triple button cell battery mount was extracted from an LED lighter and povides 4,5Volt.
I share the design files for blender so that the design can be altered to fit different components. I didn't have transparent filament available so I used a piece of opaque plastic as a diffusor, but I figure that transparent filament would work as well (would love to see this). For a non-LED build the eyes could be printed white instead.
Arms, Legs, Hips and Hands were used from Skimbal's Blank Minifigure:

Parts should have a tight fit, some minor sanding may be required.
