I wanted to create the famous sword from FF7, Cloud's Buster sword. I made it 85% to scale, which is a bit over 5ft once printed.
A full scale sword would be around 6ft in length but I though that a 5ft sword is good enough, did not want to have a few extra days of printing. If you really wanted to, you could simply scale up everything within your slicer.
I added a single file of the sword so you can view it
I made the handle separate from the hilt so that i could print the handle using wood PLA.
I plan to use expanding glue to connect everything together using the connector file which you will need to print 9 of.
So far I have only printed the very tip of the sword which is around 6 3/4 in high, I have attached some photos of it.
