This is a life-size model of a Eurypterus sea scorpion from the Silurian. I didn't go into details of the ventral anatomy, so there are no gills, etc. I made the model in Blender and printed it in lots of small sections, but I'm just posting the complete file here. I started out planning the coloration to resemble a horseshoe crab, but it turned out more like a chipmunk.

I split the model into a lot of parts so I could print them without supports whenever possible. I used copper brazing rods as armatures for the legs; they are too fragile to hold up on their own. Everything was joined with epoxy. I then filled all gaps with acrylic putty before coating with epoxy and sanding. After the base coat I applied a coat of light grey, followed by a coat of very light brown. Everything else is just various brown/white mixtures. The eyes are brown with some pearlescence. I also tried black, but I prefer this colour as it's closer to a horseshoe crab's eyes.
