I am know that on hot days with the bonnet hot as well that the model could warp.
So I annealed (oven bake) the model which is suppose give the resistance to this problem.
Preheat oven to 110 Celsius.
Once heated turned oven off !
Placed glass bed plate with model still on including support in oven.
Left for 1 hour.
Once that's done I cleaned the support off.
Then I used a heat gun to warm the base slightly bending the base to the curve shape of the bonnet.
Painted Silver enamel and applied several coats of UV vanish.
Bought magnets off eBay. (20x10x2 mm).
Glued 2 magnets in slot underneath mascot.
Magnets seems to work a treat at keeping her on the bonnet even while doing 110kms lol.
Cheers :)
