The Commercial Bank of China Building is one of the many art deco buildings that can be found through Shanghai, China. Built directly west of the historic bund, this building stands at the intersection of Fuzhou Road and Central Jiangxi Road along with two other twin art deco buildings, the Hamilton House and Metropole Hotel.
This, like the other European-style buildings in Shanghai, was built in the decades between the two World Wars, when China made enormous concessions to European Powers and Japan.
This building doesn't seem to have a name currently, but has also been known previously as the Development Bank Building.
