The Polyus was a giant laser satellite developed with the USSR space shuttle programme which aimed to use laser to destroy enemy satellites. It rides on the space shuttle rocket named Energia for entering orbit.
I don't personally created this thing.
It is the works of a incredible person named Nikolai Nazarenko.
The source of the great works could be found on http://www.buran.ru/htm/3d-model.htm , which also housed a lots of excellent models about the USSR space programme.
I just converted the model into STL format for people interested to print it.
