Battlemech super Heavy Matar. The creation of this model came from the desire to expand the options of super Heavy mechs, since few digital versions were made available for printing. Okay, Matar has a design flaw lore, but I couldn't find a representation of the 3D model, just an incredible drawing by Stephen Huda, who served as inspiration for this model, and I thought that art deserved a model that represented it :-D.
Total height of 60mm (printed on an SLA). To suit the scale of the Wizkids minis, I recommend scaling to somewhere between 134 and 138% (a successful impression was made in an FDM).
If you liked my model and would like to see other Mechs like this one built, you can support me by buying me a coffee :-)https://www.buymeacoffee.com/AZ1fnFV

Notes:
This 3d print (parts) was made with 5 layers on the base, exposed for 60 seconds, subsequent layers were made with exposure of 10s, but I believe that may be made with a slightly lower exposure for a total height of 60mm after mounted. If you prefer the Wizkids scale (MW:DA) scale to 134% - 138% (around 80mm).
How I Designed This
The creation process started from a single existing reference, the design created by Stephen Huda for battlemech. (https://www.facebook.com/Stephen-Huda-artist-140501519309021/)
The 3d model was created freely, using cannons as reference elements.
From this point on, all elements were designed, always trying to maintain the appropriate proportions, and making adjustments and assumptions of non-visible parts based on the specifications of the mech (https://www.sarna.net/wiki/Matar_(BattleMech ))
The mech was all modeled on the Fusion 360, being taken to the blender for optimizations and final pose.
