Decent 3D prints of Spandaus seem to be hard to find so I decide to design my own. This one is done in 1:5 scale and is designed in as few parts as possible. I was concerned about the strength of the print given all the perforations in the barrel shroud so the print is based around a 3mm carbon fibre tube (or 1/8" brass tube) that runs from the breech block to the muzzle and is glued in place as the gun is assembled. This tube also replicates the actual barrel and is easier done this way than trying to print the barrel. The parts have interlocking blocks to ensure that they align properly on assembly.
I haven't provided any print details as every machine is different. However, there is nothing fancy about the print. The barrel shroud is printed vertically and a brim helps adhesion. The breech parts are printed on their backs with supports turned on.
The one that I printed has a little bit of fuzz on the barrel shroud but, from a normal viewing distance, this is insignificant ( and may be better depending on your machine).
There are two holes through the breech that will take M2 screws for mounting brackets.
