Full size blaster from the Star Wars POTF (Power of the Force) Death Star Gunner figure. Death Star Gunner is also known as the Imperial Gunner.

THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS. Most of the external parts are now completed. I have one about 95% completed. The picture is an early assembly of the main components to get an idea of the size.

Model View

This model was designed with the intent to add electronics. Therefore the following should be noted.

1. Top done was intended to use an on/off Pot to allow for on/off and volume. See parts list for switch.

2. Bottom dome was intended to use a rotary switch for selecting modes

3. Left cocking handle is intended to be an up/down clicker using micro switches

4. Intent is to use a reed switch to act as trigger since model has no visible trigger mechanism. Use magnet inside gloves to activate reed switch.

Things left to do

1. Consider remodeling the handle to allow some squares to be buttons. Obvious use is a trigger.

2. Finish parts for internals of clicker switch

3. Electronics

About this project.
This project came about due to my desire to learn Fusion 360. By having a project it gave me some additional focus with a view to bringing this to life at the end.
This is a fan made design based on the model from the toy figure.
