For hours you've walked through sand. The air is hot and you feel tired and thirsty. You're lookning for a mythical, gold covered dragon. And there he is right in front of you. his wings stretches up to the heaven and his tail down in the sand. His wings, back and tail are covered with golden scales that shines in the hot sun.
When i first saw a picture of this Anubis lookning dragon I had to design and print him. Even though I haven't played the phone game he's from, Monster Hunter Explore, I still needed him, and in a D&D mini scale so I could use him in one of my campign.
The model is split in three, the two wings and the body. I also printed a 76 mm base for him and decorated it afterwards. It is scaled for a 76 mm base, but feel free to scale him up or down.
Hope you all enjoy and happy hunting!

I brushed on a cheap woodfiller first with a paintbrush to smooth out the model without loosing details. After that i painted it with cheap acryllic paint, using normal miniature techniques.
How I Designed This
The model is sculped in Blender using those few reference pictures I could find.
