These Apollo Lunar Lander thrusters were designed as part of a 1/2 scale Lunar Lander built for the 50th anniversary of the landing. This thruster is also 1/2 scale at 100% print size. Note that I created this thruster from photographs of the actual thrusters so while it may be close, it's not a 100% replica. I broke this model into several parts to speed up the print by not needing to use a lot of support material. With these savings I was able to print a single thruster in about 3.5 hours. The cage took a lot longer at about 10 hours if I remember correctly.
Enjoy!

Notes:
The pictures are posted in the order of build. First print the thruster cage and the cage top. They are made as separate parts to avoid needing support structure up the middle of the cage. Saves a ton of filament and time. After printing those two parts, take the top and fit it into the cage. It will be a very tight pressure fit, i.e., no glue is needed to keep them together. The top will also only fit one way as I didn't make it perfectly symmetrical. Start pressing in the side of the top and work your way around the edge until it's fully seated. You may have to use an exacto knife to clean off the edges from squished filament. Now print out 2 of the thruster base parts and 4 thruster nozzles. Install 2 of the thruster onto the base plates and the other 2 onto the base plates built into the cage. In hindsight, I should have built all base plates into the cage. It could be a snug fit but I would add some epoxy if you don't want those thrusters falling off. Finally, as you can see in the pictures, cover the cage with black and silver material. The cage is now ready to be installed to the lunar lander.
