I have printed almost all of Jabberwock's GI Joe models and I have a nice display down in my work room. He always says in his info that he modeled them at 100% toy size, but that we should print them at 25% for best results. This is all fine and good, except I want full size! I have a printer and what the hell, might as well.
Because of Covid-19 and Amazon, I have been waiting FOREVER for filament. I try to print in the filament color that I want the finished product to be. I dislike painting as it always comes off and looks less good than actual colored filament.
My paint job is total piece of s***. I highly recommend you use the correct colors of filament and minimal painting.
The doors work, just like the original. The chassis can be printed with or without the shovel as a separate piece. Chassis V1 has the hole and indent for the shovel. V2 has the shovel built into the chassis. I really wanted the shovel as a separate piece, but was less successful at making it fit than I wanted. I did adjust the chassis so the holding clip is better, but I am too impatient to wait 24 hours to reprint the chassis just to see if the shovel fits.
I will post an assembly video soon.
