Hi Everyone,
Here is my 4th iteration of the Sunroof Slider Rail Clips present in older BMW's (X5 E36 E39 E53 E46).
They are just a little bit thicker than the OEM clips in width and have more plastic filled inside them when printed.
I have attached a video of the OLD clips working fine, these did break after a few months when i accidentally tilted the sunroof higher than it was meant to go (tilt times 2 xD). The new iteration has a lot more plastic around the joint and between the joint at the top and the actual slider below.
Print this with max wall count or 100% infill, make sure to use ABS or PETG. PLA should work but if it gets hot expect warping and breakage.
I will have an install video up on my YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMfzPVdq93SrSCO8tXS3yhA/featured?view_as=subscriber) about how to put these into the sunroof, super easy, in the meantime the are videos and forums online that should help.
Let me know if this has helped you and if you have any suggestions.

Print with wall count set to 100 or 100% infill, basically you want no air in the print for max strength.
