This is a 3d printable version of this CNC modelhttps://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2744214
There were lots of pars, it was confusing, so where possible and without needing supports i have joined the pieces together already. that said it still leaves quite a few that need to be printed flat and joined with the joints provided.
The model is made to the plans, there are some parts, the joints etc, that are rather difficult to get in place, but they do go in with a bit of force, and this is needed to keep the model together. others like the tie fighter tray i have made a gap tolerance so the pieces should fit easily enough.
One of the hardest things i discovered when making the model is getting the Control tower in its place, perhaps because i joined all the ships outer hull parts,... what i did discover is that if you put the joints into the top tray, the hull pieces clip on to these joints only on the very edge and once you have clipped the hull on, with care you can actually open it up like a hinged door, so the hull swings open remaining connected to the joints, this is how i managed to get the tower into the correct place... swing the top hull open, add the tower to either the gap on the left, or right top hull piece, and then swing both of them closed together, encasing the tower between them.
For my bottom tray i switched off top and bottom layers, and used 50% infill honeycomb in order for it to look like a grid. otherwise it will simply be solide.
