Cooksonia is an extinct genus of early land plants from the Silurian-Devonian. Only the sporophyte is known, and it is unknown if this was dependent on the gametophyte or not. I reconstructed it as a green plant with a thalloid structure similar to the extant liverwort Riccia.

Post-Printing
I printed this in transparent green resin for translucency and gave it a green an brown dusting with an airbrush. The model is mounted on a mound of sand and glue on a black plastic disk, the spores are cocoa powder stuck to the sporangia with superglue.
