I wanted a building and painting stand for my scale model planes. Searching Thingiverse, I discovered the stand by esorreta that was almost like I what I was looking for.
I applied some modifications to better fit my needs:
Longer horizontal arms: I mostly build 1/48 scale planes so I liked the arms to be a bit longer.
Longer vertical sliders: able to use different sliders of different length depending on the model.
Simpler one-piece design of the fuselage saddles and wing fixed saddles for easier printing.
Thumbwheels with nuts for locking the sliders in place (I used a design similar to thumbwheels for 3D printer heated bed leveling).
Interlocking arms/cross center to not having to use glue.
Screw holes to be able to fix the stand on an IKEA SNUDDA rotating board.

Optional Non Printed Parts
1 piece of IKEA SNUDDA round rotating board
5 pieces of 3x12mm wood screws
Notes
Note 1
When using it with SNUDDA:
Use 4 pieces of A1_Slotted_Arm_Long.
Use 4 wood screws to fix the Slotted Arms to the SNUDDA.
Use 1 wood screw instead of the M3x10mm screw and the 9th nut in the center cross to fix it to the SNUDDA.
Note 2
You can print both lenghs of vertical sliders and use them interchangeably depending of the scale model you are building.
Note 3
For the hinged version of the wing sliders, print 2 pieces of G and 2 pieces of H. I used a 1mm drill to clear the holes and and straightened-out paper clips.
