My 1:100 scale model of the United Kingdom's only orbital class rocket, the Black Arrow.
"Black Arrow, officially capitalized BLACK ARROW, was a British satellite carrier rocket. Developed during the 1960s, it was used for four launches between 1969 and 1971, all launched from the Woomera Prohibited Area in Australia. Its final flight was the first and only successful orbital launch to be conducted by the United Kingdom, and placed the Prospero satellite into low Earth orbit."
-- Wikipedia intro
The rocket is printed in 3 interlocking segments so that each segment can be printed in a single color. The black spiral can be painted or penned by a extra fine tip felt pen or pencil.
This model has been successfully printed at 1:110 scale without support material.
I hope you enjoy this model!
