A simple model kit of the soviet WW2-fighter LaGG-3. It was an experiment trying to go more scale.
The wings, the stabilizers, and the major part of the fuselage are designed for vase mode printing. The nose section includes the propeller shaft and therefore has to be printed in the "standard" mode. The same is the case for the propeller and the "decals".

Wings, stabilizers and the main fuselage section were printed in vase mode.
The nose section, the propeller, and the decals were printed in standard mode.
The flat green filament provided the base color.
Post-Printing
The build is rather streight forward. All parts were conected by a polystyrene cement glue. For the finish, I used acrylic colors. (Unfortunately, I didn't have the proper colors to make a scale camouflage on the upper side)
The main issue I observed after printing was the clapmed shaft, probably due to internal stinging. I used pliers to grab the rear side of the shaft and carefully applied some notable force to relase it by turning it back and forth.
Also, gluing the "decals" was rather cumbersome. They were printed at 0.2mm and came out too stiff, especially at the fuselage.
How I Designed This
The large parts were designed for vase mode to save time and material. The decals were designed printable to reduce the painting effort.
