Spyro the Dragon. Based on the older games. Mostly done to practice prepping a model for printing and to give me something to print. I didn't realize there were already so many of these on here already. If you prefer the way Spyro looked originally, I tried to stay faithful to that design. I hope you like it!
How I Designed This
This model was ripped from an earlier game. Not sure which.
The eyebrows, nostrils, eyes, wings and fins on the back were separated from the original model. I remodeled them and arched them so that they would all have smooth seams and the model would have a continuous skin, then subdivided it twice to smooth out the model so that the polygons wouldn't be too obvious on the finished print. I corrected the wings because they were single polygons with no back, so I gave it a little volume with 2 sides.
