This is a work in progress. I've done 2 prints at .1 resolution.
There were fairly significant print issues, possibly due to resizing and printing at such a coarse resolution. x=12mm and x=25.4mm didn't work well enough to be worth your time.
This is Donatello's David, as scanned by Scan The World, via Wikimedia.
One small improvement to the original: David's face has been replaced with Harrison Ford's.
I was inspired by Late Roman sculpture. Quote from Wikipedia:
"The term Pseudo-athlete is used to describe works of art from the Late Republican period in Rome that combine a veristic head with an idealized body that references Classical Greek sculpture. "
