Creation myth from Kalevala. A goldeneye lays egg on Ilmatar's knee. The hatching burns her and she moves her leg, tipping the egg to shatter on the waves. The lower half forms the earth and the upper part the sky. The yolk becomes the sun, the white becomes the moon. The small shards turn into the stars.
