Basically gutted out and fitted the other part inside.
To keep everything together, I used a ball point pen spring, cut in half, and a 4 mm or 5/32 ball bearing.
Insert the spring into the hole, put the bearing on top, force down with your finger and insert the piece into the other part.
The bearing will sort of lock into the depression holes I have put inside.
It will hold closed and when you apply the opening force, don't rip the guts out of it, gently pull it up and you will hear and feel the bearing snap into the open position.
With a little work it could have a flash from a phone camera inserted and the thing would Flash like the Movie.
