The Real Ghostbusters Particle Thrower
After starting a GB84 pack build using Tgoachers amazing files I was inspired, by someone converting the Kenner Toy Proton Pack with lights and sounds, to design a 3D printable version.
I used plans that were signed off for the cartoon all those many years ago and since there isn't a lot of reference it isn't 100% accurate but is as close as I can get it with thanks from suggestions.
It is relatively the same size as the GB84 Thrower, a little bit shorter so there isn't tonnes of room but there is enough for LEDs and switches.
I have included a picture of the Thrower with the parts labelled the same as the 3D printer files for reference.
The rear handle and front barrel should be US 1" PVC pipe, both 120mm long
You will also need:
12x M4x10 Bolts for the Left Wall, Right Wall, Bottom Tube, Right Wall Knob, Left Wall Knob and Left Wall Plate
1x M4x4 Bolt for the Knob in LED Box
5-6mm tube that goes from the hole in the front of the thrower box around the grip and into the hole in the barrel of the wand.
3mm LED for the Wand End 4/Nozzle
2x 8mm LED with holders (12mm holes) for the side LED Box
10mm LED for the LED on top of the Thrower Box
21x27mm cutout for large amber/yellow rocker switch that are readily available on ebay
16mm hole in the grip for a momentary push switch
