Both rotors ar driven by a very small electromotor, power source 4x1.5V AA-batteries. Well
built and assembled the main rotor should rotate very fast.
This helicopter is 450 mm long, and can easily be printed on a regular 200x200 bed.
Parts will be uploaded as I proceed with this project. Busy assembling and testing.
To have this one run very smooth and very fast I added a few(6) ball-bearings 3x7x2.5
I also needed a smooth rod 3mm diameter, 4 batterie-holders, and a switch. All bolt and nuts are M3. Eight pullies(printed) and 2 rubber bands. Also 2 small gears.
Tested it and at 1.5 volts the small rotor rotates at about 1100rpm.
This helicopter is in fact a copy of an earlier design I made out of sheet-metal parts.
