I cut Mike's model in half so it can be printed larger, and entirely without support.
If you print it in ABS you can glue the parts together with PVC pipe glue. It works very nicely. This model is designed to be printed with a .3 nozzle. If you are using a different diameter nozzle, scale it proportionally. Scaling to 1.66 will make it printable on the Taz5 stock .5 mm nozzle.

I successfully printed this in two pieces with my .5 mm nozzle scaled to 1.66.
Two piece printing instructions: (What I did)
ABS 240c (Be sure to get a precise average diameter of your filament.)
1.5 mm thickness
.25 layer height
0% infill
No supports
Glue stick to prepare print surface -- soaked with water after to get model off of print surface.
A little extra cooling when it prints the very tip of the nose would make for a better finish.
Put strong neodymium magnets inside of hollow compartments. Unfortunately mine were not strong enough. Use really strong ones, and maybe you can get this to adhere to either side of a window so it looks like the plane is flying into your house. .
Because my magnets were not strong enough, I used PVC pipe glue to glue the two pieces together. The model looks great, and there is no support material to remove!
