Summary

The double barrelled laser pistols, wielded by the Sentry Robots onboard the Cygnus (US Deep Space Probe One) from Disney's "The Black Hole"

There are some inaccuracies to the movie. mainly the top and bottom laser coils these might be actually easier to replicate coiling wire around a dowel rather than printing.

Post-Printing

Assembly is fairly direct, Left and right hand-grips go together, and then have tabs that slot into the main body, the two muzzle halves fit together and then fit to the front (the end with the reinforcing bar of the main body. The butt fits flush to the back of the gun, The barrel and laser tip have location pegs for assembly

How I Designed This

I worked from photgraphs of the movie prop, tracing them over in Adobe Illustrator to produce plan and view drawings. From the plans, SVGs were created and then imported into 123d, where the parts were created, scaled, and then exported into Meshmixer to produce .stl models for printing.
