Following up on my previous derivative, Niko with 25mm base, I made and painted this model by combining my own base with the Shiba model source. I think it turned out really well.
Painted with Testors enamel paint.
EDIT: Whoops! I uploaded the wrong stl file at first. The first one was my first try, which was too small. The second one, which is the one split from the base, is the one I successfully printed. I superglued the Shiba onto the base after removing all the support material, which worked very well.
Printer:
MP Mini
Rafts:
No
Supports:
Yes
Resolution:
80 microns
Infill:
~20%
Notes:
Printed with a 250 micron nozzle.
Remove support material.
Glue (I used Gorilla Glue) the Shiba to the base.
(optional) "paint" the Shiba's legs with superglue. This will make them MUCH stronger.
(optional) Prime the model in white/off-white. This means you won't have to paint the underside of the Shiba. Bonus points if you printed in this color originally.
Paint the model.
