The "Thailand Buddha" model is probably the most amazing, high quality, 3d scanned buddha on thingieverse. Unfortunately, when I printed it out, I discovered that you could clearly see the thick mold casting seams from the original piece that was 3d scanned.
I ran through and quickly fixed the affected areas. It's may not look perfect as a model if you zoom in, but looks great even at fairly large (to me at 180mm) prints . Printed model in the pictures above was printed 80mm tall at 0.1mm as my first test print.
I had to slice the bottom a wee bit to make it flat enough sit without supports. The STL is a pig at a wee bit over 3 million polys, I can upload a reduced poly model if anyone needs it.
Printed just fine without supports for me (at 0.1mm layer)
