After seeing the photo shown here from John Boyega's Instagram page. I went on a hunt for this model.  Unable to track down a fully accurate representation of it, I made my own. Here it is, enjoy.  If you would like one of these printed for you, it will be available on my site @ https://theexplorographer.com/ soon.  Feel free to contact me there in the meantime if you are interested. (Store creation from scratch takes a while when you are a one man crew)

Sorry the Grip section is not showing.  It is a large complex model and Thingiverse will not generate a final view of it.  I will put together a version so you can see the model assembled.

Also, thanks to John Boyega and his instagram page and Star Wars for the inspiration!! https://www.instagram.com/johnboyega/?hl=en

Doesn't Matter

Yes

Resolution:

Infill:

10% or higher for weight

Notes:

I have tried to pre-orient the parts for proper printing.  Your mileage may vary depending on the printer.  I have printed this gun on both my Anet A8 and Ultimaker 2 Extended just fine.  Supports are highly recommended.  Set your minimum support angle generation at 55-65% depending on your printers capabilities and you should be fine.

Post-Printing

Post Processing...

I highly suggest this process.

1) X-acto, sand lightly after printing to remove spurs from supports.

2) Assemble gun.

3) If printed in PLA/PETG spray parts with Primer/Filler, then sand.  Repeat this process 3 times for  nice finish.

4) Begin final painting/weathering

5) Seal the completed paint job

I can provide raw prints, primer/paint ready models, and finished painted models on my site @ https://theexplorographer.com/  (store coming soon but you can contact me there for commissioned pieces)
