This is just a test version. (ORIGINAL DAISHI DESIGN by WOLFKING1985)
(ONLY THE ARMS AND LEGS HAVE BEEN PRINTED SO FAR, HAVE TO CHANGE COLOR TO YELLOW FOR THE BODY. RAN OUT OF REDDISH ORANGE)
.3 layer height
No supports
125mm sec (Using Reptier Host)
Only 10% infill for the test version
The only weak area is the ankles. I may have to add additional material in the design so they wont be as fragile.
Update: 6-23-2017
All Parts Printed. Now the fun begins. I have to claen and sand the parts.
Will keep you posted
Sliced with CURA and Printed using Manual Control in Reptier Host
I bumped the speed up to 125 through Reptier Host Manual Control and the feed rate by 10% on the extruder to keep up with the speed of the print
It is coming out nice, but then again, its .3 layer height.
Once the first version is done, I plan to run it at 50mm/s on .1 layer height using a .2 nozzle
I'll update as the work moves forward
You will need to sand the flat mating surfaces smooth before you attempt assembly.
I would use regular model glue so you have a longer working time. Do NOT us CA Glue, it just sets to quickly. Clean up any excess on the edges, and be careful of the main guns on the torso, they will snap off if you hit them or bump them to hard
