Even though this is a video game weapon that is very clearly OP and almost takes the fun out of the game, I always enjoyed the design and concept of it. And so in my search for more video game props to model, I decided on this as it was my first firearm, and this is more simple to model. Though I must add that this is the first time I designed a thing to be modular, to fit together as separate parts which are all very reasonable divided and common sense for printing. Though it does not have moving parts. Maybe one day.
Apparently this gun is based off a gun called the liberator, which was dropped behind enemy lines in world war 2, as a single shot pistol, for resistance fighters (in Poland?), and was supposedly a spectacular failure. All the same it's always reassuring to see in a metal gear solid game.
NOTE: Sorry for the lack of pictures of prints for all my uploads thus far. My printer is in repair right now. Soon as its running and I get these things printed I will post pictures.
Cheers!
