Simple towel hook which clips onto the radiator.

Designed in two pieces to be glued together after printing. This gave better results than printing it as a single piece using supports.

I have not tested how well it works when the radiator is hot as it currently is summer.

If needed, the distance between two radiator tubes,  the diameter of the tubes and the side of the hook can be adjusted.

Post-Printing

Cleanup rough edges.

After printing any rough edges where trimmed of using a knife.

Drill a hole.

A small hole (3 mm) was drilled through the hook to allow excess glue to escape and to hold the hook during acetone vapor smoothing.

(The hole is not printed in case something other than ABS is used)

Glue the pieces together.

The pieces where glued together using filament dissolved into some acetone. Excess glue can escape though the hole.

Put the hook on a stick.

Push a stick or screw is into the drilled hole to hold the hook during acetone smoothing.

Acetone smoothing.

Using the stick to hold the hook, the hook is placed into a sealed pan with some acetone. The hook does not touch the pan or acetone.
The pan is then placed into a larger pan filled with some hot water.
The hook was left in there for about an hour occasionally adding some more acetone.

After an hour the hook was removed and left to dry overnight which gave it a smooth finish.
