This replica of the famous BT700 armoured vehicle represents a mid production vehicle. Earlier vehicles had less powerful guns while the latter vehicles had a re-designed turret for added protection.
The tank relies on its inbuilt nuke generator which is set on the mid right side and powers the long axis generation column. The wheels are all independently powered by the engines above them, and this leaves much of the vehicle interior open for use as a troop transporter. The rear hatch is the main access, but the turret top also includes the commanders cupola and hatch. Designed as a tank which could use both tracks or wheels, the track option proved so problematic that the option was dropped.
The tanks proved to be very useful in a dozen planetary battles over the last six decades, but as the Aliens began to use more powerful hover vehicles, and the BT700 was deemed too vulnerable to use on the front line and were replaced with improved vehicles.
