Two prototypes that were never built. The idea was a single seat fighter, somewhat smaller than the famous Go-229. The Horten brothers made only preliminary sketches, but the manufacturer wanted to build prototypes to gain government funding. The fight was not resolved at the end of the war.
Unclear which jet engines would be available, there was a twin engine proposal using BMW engines, or a single engine version using the Heinkel engine.
Due to the position of the twin engines, a 4-point undercarriage was considered, with two single wheels in line along the center line, and two "training wheels" at the wing tips.
Again, this never made it off the paper.
Except on your printer!
If you do print either one, please post a photo.
Thank you!
Notes:
Slice off the wings to get two wings and a fuselage. The slice the fuselage between the canopy and the engine recess. Use the cut planes as the base/bottom for printing.
If you can print this to a 30" wingspan using only spiral vase prints, it will fly. The CG should be a little ahead of the thickest part of the wing root camber.
